Requirement

Students must attend an ESL assessment on September 2nd or September 9th at Rockwood Station from 9AM-6PM

The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations, enabling more effective cooperation among neighborhood associations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Goals of the Coalition include providing a public forum for the review and evaluation of issues and problems, providing education and information on specific areas such as land use, and providing a unified voice for the neighborhood associations.

The Coalition meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM

Come to our Healthy Kids Fair! On Sept. 18th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, dozens of hospital departments and community organizations are set to entertain and educate, while focusing on kids' safety and fun!

Keep your child safe. Drive to our Car Safety Seaat Check, and we will make sure that you are using your car safety seat properly. Located across Stark St at the former Saturn dealership. Recycle your used/damaged car safety seats and bike helmets FREE of charge.

Healthy Kids' Check

Have your child's height, weight, heart and smile checked. Go home with a new toothbrush and a button containing this important information.

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse

Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. 2010 SOLV Beach and Riverside Cleanup
Saturday September 25, 2010!

From inland rivers to the coast, water connects us all. This fall, Oregonians are invited to continue the tradition of cleaning coastal beaches and make an even bigger impact by joining other SOLV volunteers along rivers, creeks, lakes and watersheds as SOLV expands this cleanup event this year for the first time!

Be prepared to get a little dirty and to have fun by supporting and volunteering with SOLV, Friends of Nadaka and Wilkes East Neighborhood Association in their efforts to remove invasives and clear underbrush from Nadaka Nature Park, part of the Columbia Slough Watershed.

Rain or Shine! Come dressed for weather and help improve Nadaka Nature Park and our watershed. Bring working gloves & a water bottle if you have them. Volunteer as long as you can.

Coffee, juice, water & refreshments provided by Wilkes East Neighborhood.
