Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 9th through September 21st 2013.
Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

St. Aidan's Episcopal Church's Sunday @ 3:00PM Concert Series is thrilled to present a performance of solo violin music of JS Bach by the Grammy nominated Baroque violinist Monica Huggett. Gresham is updating its rules for food and beverage carts (coffee carts, mobile food vendors, taco trucks) and temporary uses (farmers' markets, Christmas tree lots, fruit and veggie stands, and similar uses).
Proposed rules will affect such things as where they can be on a site, how long they can stay and how the City will review them. Staff also will seek Commission input on additional rules regarding food cart and site appearance.
