Come tour Historic Downtown Gresham, and learn about its historic buildings and homes, historic graves and trees, some historic local figures, and about the shops that used to line Main Ave. Tours weave throughout Historic Downtown Gresham, are fast paced, and will cover around a mile of mostly flat level ground.
Tours leave at 11:00AM sharp, rain or shine, and are free. Donations are always accepted and much appreciated. Parking is available in the lot behind the museum.

Tour Gresham's Pioneer Cemeteries
Join us for a walk through history as we wind our way through Gresham's Pioneer Cemeteries.
We'll visit some of Gresham's historically significant graves and learn a little about the lives of those within them.
The tour group will meet at the Spring Water Corridor entrance into Main City Park. From there the group will walk a short distance to the Pioneer Cemeteries.
The tour is absolutely free. Donations are always welcome and very much appreciated.

Earth Day Recycling. Rain or Shine!
The City's annual recycling event is free to Gresham and Wood Village residents (businesses may only participate in recycling fluorescents). Or, take your items to a year-round recycler. Contact Metro Recycling at 503-234-3000 for location and material information.
Be an Earth Day Volunteer
The City needs volunteers for this event. Volunteers can help direct traffic, unload and sort materials or pass out recycling information. There are two shifts to choose from: 8 to 11:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Or you can volunteer for the entire day! Contact Nick Isbister by April 7 to sign up at 503-618-2206 or Nick.Isbister@GreshamOregon.gov.

Camassia Community Planning, a grad student group from Portland State University has partnered with the Rockwood Neighborhood Association to host an open discussion for Rockwood Area Neighbors from Wilkes East, Centennial, North Gresham, or Rockwood. We want to hear about what works in your neighborhood, and what could be even better!
Camassia Community Planning, with the support of Planning and Urban Design department of the City of Gresham, will develop Opportunity Maps, using an innovative method for analyzing and displaying the neighborhood conditions that affect community health and well-being. In order to ensure that the maps reflect the lived experiences of the residents of Gresham, Camassia would like to come to you to start a conversation about the opportunities you see in your area.
