City Needs Your Feedback
We need your feedback on the Draft Urban Forestry Management Plan (UFMP) and the strategies proposed to enhance Gresham's urban forest over the next 20+ years. Join us on Tuesday, April 19 at 5 p.m. to review the Draft Urban Forestry Management Plan.
There will be a short presentation at the beginning of each hour that highlights the draft Plan and key action items identified in the Plan. We will provide copies of the full draft Plan for your review.

The Gresham Redevelopment Commission Budget Committee (GRDCBC) meets once yearly in April to review and recommend a budget to the Gresham Redevelopment Commission.
The GRDCBC will meet on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. to consider the Gresham Redevelopment Commission’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2011/12 Budget for the Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal Area. The meeting will be held in the Gresham City Hall Conference Center, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway, Gresham, OR. This is a public meeting. Citizens will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed budget during the citizen comment period.

Safely Dispose Of Unwanted Drugs
On Saturday, April 30, the DEA and its partners will hold the second National Prescription Drug Take-Back Daynationwide. Gresham and East County residents can drop off prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Troutdale Police Department, 141 S.E. Dora St., Troutdale.
The take-back service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

The Rockwood Neighborhood Association will hold their next regular meeting Tuesday, March 22nd from 7-9PM at the Rockwood Station Apartments Community Center. The public is invited to attend.
Following the conduct of business, they will have two presentations that should occupy the balance of the evening.

Rosewood Initiative
The first presentation will be by the Gresham Police Department officer spearheading the Rosewood Initiative, a project designed to address issues related to public safety concerns at and around the MAX stop at 162nd and Burnside, our first "gateway to Rockwood" light rail stop. Community Health Providers
The second presentation will be by a panel of community health providers
describing the services of each of their clinics: the new Multnomah County Community Health Clinic on SE 182nd and its plans for expansion; and Wallace Medical Concern, soon to be located at the Human Solutions Rockwood Center building currently under construction at Couch and NE 181st. Dr. Bob Sayson, Medical Director of the Good News Clinic across from the Rockwood branch of the Multnomah County Library will also share news of his clinic's services and future expansion.
Loaves & Fishes Centers"The Meals-On-Wheels People" will open a new senior nutrition site in the Rockwood neighborhood this summer and is seeking input from the community at a meeting. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gresham Salvation Army, 473 SE 194th. Lunch will be provided.

Public welcome
The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations, enabling more effective cooperation among neighborhood associations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Goals of the Coalition include providing a public forum for the review and evaluation of issues and problems, providing education and information on specific areas such as land use, and providing a unified voice for the neighborhood associations.
The Coalition meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM
