This three-mile out-and-back trail starts at the Mazama Lodge Sno-Park and goes down a gentle grade to the Multipor ski area and back. We'll stop in Government Camp for those who need to rent snowshoes. Pack a lunch, and bring a snack to eat on the trail.

- Difficulty: Easy/Moderate
- Elevation gain: 150 feet

Senior Healthy Hikers: Bennett Pass Snowshoe Hike: Tue Feb 06, 2014 9AM-5PM

This walk is a fairly gentle, 3.8-mile snowshoe hike along the road to Bennett Pass (mostly in the trees) with old logging roads off to the sides.
The group will stop in Government Camp for those who need to rent snowshoes. In addition to lunch, bring water and snacks to eat along the trail.
- Round-trip travel: 100 miles
- Suggested donation per rider: $10
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Elevation gain: 267 feet
Bring a camera because if the weather is clear there will be many views of Mt. Hood. In addition, there will be a beautiful view of Mt. Hood across the valley where the group will stop to eat lunch. Often there are snow caves built by overnighters and Boy Scouts in the area.

This three-mile walk begins at the Multnomah Arts Center. We'll walk through Multnomah Village to Gabriel Park along paved gravel and natural trails that lead to the Southwest Community Center. After a short break at the center, walk the woodsy trails along a creek to a community garden before heading back to town. The group will stop for lunch at Marco’s Café before returning to cars.
- Round-trip travel: 33 miles
- Suggested donation per rider: $4
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Elevation gain: 200 feet
Sturdy walking shoes are recommended.

February is National Children's Dental Health Month
The Multnomah Dental Society will host its annual Free Children's Health Fair, Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10AM to 2PM at Reynolds Middle School at 1200 NE 201st Av in Fairview.
Health professionals will offer dental treatments, immunizations, vision checks, hearing screenings and several other services for kids at no charge. Families can receive information on the Oregon Health Plan and other healthcare topics, nutrition, Head Start early education, fire safety and other programs.

This walk totals three miles on two different trails in Happy Valley. The walk begins with a loop hike on the Mt Scott Nature Trail at the newly dedicated Studebaker trailhead, which starts with a steep downhill trek into the forest. Hiking boots and poles are recommended for the Mt. Scott Nature Trail portion of this hike.
The group will then drive to Happy Valley Park for the second portion of the hike on walking trails through the park’s wetland areas.
- Round-trip travel: 28 miles
- Suggested donation per rider: $3
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Elevation gain: 250 feet
Dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and a snack to eat along the way.

Come tour Historic Downtown Gresham, and learn about its historic buildings and homes, historic graves and trees, some historic local figures, and about the shops that used to line Main Ave. Tours weave throughout Historic Downtown Gresham, are fast paced, and will cover around a mile of mostly flat level ground.
Tours leave at 11:00AM sharp, rain or shine, and are free. Donations are always accepted and much appreciated. Parking is available in the lot behind the museum.
