If you've enjoyed the Zimmerman House during the day, you should see her at night!

Journey Back In Time
The historic Zimmerman House was built in 1874 and was home to three generations of the Zimmerman Family. Their furnishings and personal articles remain in this two-story Victorian home, including children’s toys, games, Christmas postcards, and winter clothing. This annual evening tour will be held on Tuesday, December 8th and December 10th from 2pm-7pm.

Please reserve the time you’d like to visit the house, and give yourself approximately 45 minutes to explore both floors of this heritage home.

Parking is extremely limited, so please consider carpooling.

Admission is free, but the suggested donation for this special event is $5 per person for ages 18 and older.

The Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) meets monthly on the third Tuesday immediately following adjournment of the 3 p.m. Gresham City Council meeting.

GRDC meetings allow necessary Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal business to be dealt with, such as budget adoption, grant awards, public hearings, resolutions, etc.

Thirty thousand people in West Gresham could get different zip codes next year if the United States Postal Service thinks a realignment would benefit the community. The Gresham City Council on Dec. 15 unanimously decided to request that the postal service remedy “jurisdictional confusion” caused by residents in West Gresham having a Portland or Fairview zip code.

The two main Gresham zip codes are 97030 and 97080, but the 30,000 people that are in the impacted area have zip codes that are 97024, 97230, 97233 and 97236.

The zip code alignment issue leads to residents being unclear about what city they live in and from where they should be requesting services such as police and fire or business licenses
