Native amphibians and reptilesWhen: Sat Mar 28, 2015 9:00-11:30AM |
Meet us at the Gresham Meadowlands
Amphibians and reptiles represent a major component of ecosystems, and being an indicator species can tell us a lot about the health of our own environment. However, human activities have led to their decline and a disruption to the balance of our natural ecology. Meet us at the Gresham Meadowlands for an exciting and engaging class on herpetology, where we will be learning how to identify our native amphibians & reptiles, their life cycle, habitat requirements, and the monitoring techniques we apply in Gresham!
This event is free and suitable for all ages.

Share Your Ideas!When: Thu Feb 26, 2015 6:30-8:30PM |
This project involves revising City rules that present obstacles to desired development, with a focus on development rules related to Rockwood, Civic Neighborhood, Downtown and the City’s major streets. Please, come help us evaluate potential rule changes that involve building height, development intensity, parking requirements and other issues. The changes are intended to ensure that desired development can occur and result in high-quality centers and corridors that work well for people in Gresham.
Tell Us Your Gresham History
The Gresham History Museum has received a grant from the city to record yours stories about growing up, living, working, and playing here in Gresham. We are holding informal interviews weekly here at the museum. If you would like to participate, please call the museum to set up a time to come in. We are very flexible! This project is ongoing. We are looking for participants from now through December.
Each sharing session will be filmed and stored in our archives. Please consider sharing your stories, and help us preserve Gresham's history!
The museum is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-4, and Saturdays from 10-2. Please call to set up an interview session. 503-661-0347

Hiking boots and hiking poles are recommended. Footing may be a little slippery in places. Bring a lunch to eat at the picnic tables at the top, before we start our descent back to the cars.
