Come out and be counted!
As part of a nation-wide effort to document the number of people using our multi-use trails, we'll be counting bikers and walkers on the Springwater Corridor, Gresham Fairview Trail and I-205 Trail. Call for volunteer information, exact locations and time schedules.

If you are new to cycling, are a family with kids, or are just trying to get back on a bike this ride may be just what you're looking for. Come enjoy spring in Gresham and join us for a slow-paced family-friendly bike ride. This slower paced group ride around Gresham is mostly on bike paths, bike lanes, and low traffic residential streets.
Riders are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early, the group leaves at 10AM sharp from Gresham’s Main City Park at the corner of Powell Blvd and Main Ave in historic downtown.

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 9th through September 21st 2013.
Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

Adult Fun!
This free, moderately-paced experienced group bicycle ride will explore the area between Gresham, Troutdale and the Sandy River. Spring is here, so why not celebrate with a bike ride. Join us for a 25-mile loop ride!

Walk from one of NE Portland’s lesser know parks to a special tour of Lone Fir Cemetery where some of Portland’s earliest prominent citizens are laid to rest. Distance: 3 miles, 6000 steps. Time: 2 hours.

Guided and Un-Guided Walks
Join us for guided 5K and un-guided 10K Significant Tree Walks, hosted by the East County Wind Walkers American Volks Walkers Association Club.
These walks, which will begin at the building entrance to Gresham City Hall and will visit 18 trees officially designated on the City's Significant Tree List.

Wildlife Galore!
Join Audubon Society of Portland's Bob Sallinger and Bich Trinh and City of Gresham's Laura Guderyahn 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, October 1st, for a morning bird walk along segments of the Gresham-Fairview Trail in West Gresham. We'll take a leisurely stroll along new trail sections taking in views of Grant Butte and the waterfowl in the surrounding wetlands. We'll talk about recent efforts to support parks, trails, and improved access to nature in East County while enjoying some of our local avian fauna. If there is time we'll also visit Gresham Woods via the Springwater Corridor and do some birding along Johnson Creek.
