Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

Sounds of the Season When: Sat Dec 09, 2017 1:30PM-3PM Where: Pioneer Courthouse Square 701 SW Sixth Ave Portland OR Get Map!

Downtown will pulse with the melodic sounds of big brass as nearly 300 tubas play in unison for the 27th Annual Tuba Christmas Concert in the heart of downtown. This seasonal performance is FREE for the public.

Let's Kick Ball! When: Sun, Nov 05, 2017 5PM-7PM Where: Friends of the Children 424 NE 172nd Ave. Get Map!

Free drop-in futsal games for boys and girls in grades 3-6 will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sundays in the Friends of the Children gym. Rain or shine.

Supervised play is provided by Active Children Portland volunteers. This activity is sponsored by the City of Gresham.

A signed waiver is required to participate.

Cassini's Grand Finale After 13 Years at Saturn When: Tue, Nov 07 2017 6PM-8:15PM Where: MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater 26000 SE Stark Street Get Map!

Tuesday shows are at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

New Friday shows include a matinee at 1 p.m. and an evening show at 6 p.m.

Admission is only $5.
MHCC students (with valid ID) and children 17 and under are $2.

All shows are presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images.

The Sky Theater is wheelchair accessible.

2016-17 MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater Schedule:

Planetarium shows are generally on the first Tuesday and on the second Friday of each month (with exceptions during November and January).
