This 3.5-mile loop tours one of Portland's most beautiful historic neighborhoods. More than 75 homes have been designated as historically significant, ranging from Mediterranean mansions to English cottages to Prairie Craftsman homes. We plan to tour two of the three most popular historic bed and breakfast homes in the area–the Queen Anne-style "Lion and the Rose" and the Greek Revival-style "White House." Lunch will be at the Cadillac Café on Broadway.

Come Join The Fun, Saturday May 2nd!
In an effort to connect with our community and encourage camaraderie amongst us gardeners, Eastrose Fellowship is hosting a plant swap on Saturday, May 2nd at 9 - 10 am.
Here’s how it works: pot up the extra plants in your yard and bring them over. Be sure to label plants with their name and best growing conditions. Pick up some cool new treasures for your garden. This is a fun way to introduce more diversity into your garden.
Feel free to bring these to swap: plants, seeds, tools, books, decor, mason bee houses, etc. No invasive plants please.

This snowshoe hike will cover approximately three to four miles. Mt. Hood Meadows Sno-Park is located about 10 miles north of the Hwy. 26/Hwy. 35 junction. Since we will be snowshoeing amidst the Meadows cross-country ski trails, we must be careful to stay out of the groomed skiing tracks. If the day is clear, the view of Mt. Hood is spectacular. We will pass Sahalie Falls. Pack a lunch to eat along the way.
Round-trip travel: 100 miles

Elevation gain: 300 feet
Suggested donation per hiker: $10
Drivers are needed who are equipped and willing to drive in the snow. Sno-Park permits are required for drivers’ cars. We will stop at Sandy or Government Camp for those who need to rent snowshoe gear.
