A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

From concert halls in London, New York, Frankfurt and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., classical guitarist, Scott Kritzer will perform his Portland/Gresham debut on September 16, 2012 in the St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 17405 NE Glisan, Gresham.
One of America's top classical guitarists, Scott Kritzer will perform some of the greatest loved works for classical guitar in his program called Romance

Join the Wetlands Conservancy, Biodiversity Conservation Coordinator Laura Guderyahn, City of Gresham, and Life Scout and Eagle Scout candidate Ethan Parker, Boy Scouts of America, for an afternoon of exploration and to learn more about urban wetlands, the cool animals and plants that live there and Ethan's Eagle Scout project that will benefit the preserve. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

This is a fund raiser walk that benefits Zarephath's Pantry and Kitchen locally as well as other food agencies around the world. This year, we hope to involve more Gresham churches and expect 70-80 walkers. The route will loop through downtown Gresham and back to the starting point.
The event begins with registration at 1:00PM at Gresham UMC (8th and Norman). The Walk will start at 2:00PM and it is anticipated the last walkers will finish by 3:30PM at the latest.
