Romance for Guitar
From concert halls in London, New York, Frankfurt and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., classical guitarist, Scott Kritzer will perform his Portland/Gresham debut on September 16, 2012 in the St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 17405 NE Glisan, Gresham.
One of America's top classical guitarists, Scott Kritzer will perform some of the greatest loved works for classical guitar in his program called Romance, featuring that popular repertoire that has brought both the casual listener and aficionado to the instrument.
After his debut at Carnegie Hall, the New York Times called Kritzer "...intelligent and self-assured...with a sure techinque and a musical sensitivity, he created a inner life in playing, a thinking and caring musician."
The Oregonian said "Kritzer is clearly a guitarists' guitarist. The sounds that comes from his instrument are exquisite."
