Join the City of Gresham and Johnson Creek Watershed Council for a guided tour of the public demonstration garden. We will meet near the Coho shelter.
The Garden showcases the types of plants that are great for northwest gardens that also support our local wildlife and pollinators.
Local resident and native bee expert, Celeste Ets-Hokin, will speak about the bees in our gardens and the myriad of benefits they provide and work that they do.

Check out our big rigs, ride in a police car, meet Basco, Recon and Cash, the Citys Police K9 dogs, enjoy photo opportunities for the kiddos, tackle a bicycle obstacle course at the Bike Rodeo while learning about bike safety (bring your bikes, please), and having your bike helmet fitted properly. Plus, free popcorn and raffle drawing.
At CityFest, talk to staff about their career paths, meet with local resources to help you prepare for the workforce and learn about paths you can take toward meaningful work at the City of Gresham.

Bring your bike and have fun at our Bike Rodeo course, while also learning and practicing the rules of the road. Travel through five stations to learn basic bike safety and ride an obstacle course to test your bike-handling skills.
In addition, have your bike checked out for safety, your helmet adjusted with Legacy Healths Trauma Nurses Talk Tough program, and learn ways to extend your bicycle trips by using the bus or MAX.

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.
