"Spring Clean-Up" usually means you discover a lot of things you wish you could take to the dump! Well, now you don't have to take your junk very far! The dumpsters are coming to you!
This event is open to all Wilkes East Neighborhood residents. Click here for a neighborhood map!
You can bring all your general debris to the dumpsters located in the parking lot at HB Lee Middle School, 1121 NE 172nd Ave (between NE Glisan & NE Halsey), Saturday July 26th from 9AM to Noon.
Come for ice cream and a chance to get to know your neighbors!

Be sure to save Monday, August 25th at 7:00 PM for WENA’s Annual Meeting. This years meeting will be held at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 17405 NE Glisan Street, Portland, Oregon.
Meeting highlights include election of officers, Nadaka Park, and special guest speak John McClellan of Owens Corning discussing and answering questions about the new Gresham Foam Insulation Facility scheduled to open July 2009.

The Wilkes East Neighborhood is located in the Northwest corner of the City of Gresham, Oregon, and is one of Gresham Oregon's sixteen neighborhoods. Wilkes East Neighborhood borders are roughly NE Sandy Boulevard to the north, NE 181st Ave to the east, NE Glisan Street to the south, and NE 162nd Ave to the west. Help Us Design A New Entrance for Nadaka Park |
Wilkes East Neighborhood Association is preparing a grant proposal to "dress up" the entrance to Nadaka Park and add some fresh walking trail flooring (gravel, tree chips, etc.).
We are looking for persons interested in designing an entrance piece to Nadaka Park located at NE 176th Ave and NE Pacific St.

The Pacific Drive Neighborhood Watch meeting held Monday evening April 14th 2008 was a big success - adding nine new homes to their growing list of participants.
