The City charter was adopted on May 2, 1978. The City charter may only be amended, repealed or replaced if at least 60% of those voting pass a ballot measure to approve the changes.
The City charter has been revised nine times since its adoption in 1978.
Charter Review Committee

A charter review committee was appointed by Council on Dec. 17, 2019.
The committee will hold a public hearing on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6:30 pm in the City Hall Conference Center. Your participation in this meeting will provide guidance for the committee as they begin the review process.

This hike takes an urban trail around Stone Creek Golf Course. We will go up and back on a couple side streets through a neighborhood to add a little extra distance to the hike. Part of the Stone Creek Trail is along Highway 213. The trail then wanders around a housing area by the golf course and along Beaver Creek. The trail could be muddy in places if there has been a lot of rain.
We will stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Bring water and snacks for the trail. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
