The Sky Theater is wheelchair accessible.

Surprise!
Join planetarium director Pat Hanrahan as he shares his favorite planets and prominent constellations, star clusters, galaxies and nebulae and more! You don't want to miss this exciting monthly star adventure into our universe.

Each 45-minute show is presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images.

Visitors are encouraged to ask questions during each 45-minute program. Children are welcome to attend.

Held at Portland Audubon's East-side Branch at Leach Botanical Garden. Building habitat in your own back yard is fun and rewarding – and who says it has to be expensive? Learn about low-cost activities that are easy to do at home and can have a huge impact on urban wildlife.

Building habitat in your own back yard is fun and rewarding – and who says it has to be expensive? Did you know that building a rain garden can cost as little as $60 and can help save you up to $100 per year on your sewer bill? In this presentation, Portland Audubon's Backyard Habitat Program Coordinator Nikkie West will cover many low-cost activities, from creating nesting areas to propagating plants, that are easy to do right at home and can have a huge impact on urban wildlife.

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 9th through September 21st 2013.

Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!
