Measurement ceremony & celebration at 4 p.m.
Last year, the community smashed the record for the Largest display of chalk pavement art with the Chalk of Fame event.
This year’s record - the “Largest painted wooden block mosaic” - is an original record that no one in the world has yet attempted. We are inviting the community to come together to paint and place 14,400 (3.5 x 3.5 inch) wooden blocks to create a 1,225 square foot mosaic on 3rd street.
Each participant will receive 25 wooden blocks and a painting guide for their contribution to the overall mosaic image.
We need your help to make the “Block of Fame” a success and bring home another Guinness World Record!
