The Gresham Saturday Market provides a vibrant marketplace offering a rich mix of regional, farm-grown goods, handcrafted products, fine art, unique gifts, fresh food and live music to enhance the community.
Now located at the Mt Hood Community College campus northwest parking lot, corner of NE 257th & Stark St with plenty of free parking.

Shoppers will find all-natural meats and cheeses, fresh-picked produce, nursery stock and fresh-cut flowers, hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, artwork, and much more. Live music and food are always part of the market.
Located on Northwest Miller Avenue between Second and Third Street 8:30AM to 2PM each Saturday now through Oct. 29.

The Rockwood Farmers Market is a community-focused market featuring fresh produce from local farms in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. Purchase local fruits and produce, jams and jellies, enjoy hot food vendors, music, a weekly activity for kids and more.
The outdoor market is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays next to the Plaza del Sol, SE 187th Avenue, between East Burnside and SE Stark Street. The market runs on Sundays until October 16.
WIC, SNAP and Farm Direct coupons are accepted.
Take the MAX: The market is conveniently located right off of the Rockwood/E 188th Ave MAX stop. There is parking available and the market is accessible for bikes as well.
The Market is a collaboration of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregons Interfaith Food & Farms Partnership and the Rockwood Co-op.

Parents and children ages 2-5 are invited to enjoy a short story, craft and guided nature hike at Nadaka Nature Park. Watch birds fly overhead, search for hidden animal homes and learn about local trees and flowers.
This event will take place rain or shine, so pull on those boots and join us.
There is a $3 suggested donation per child; no charge for adults at time of event.
Meet at the picnic structure.

Senior Healthy Hikers: McIntyre Ridge Hike: Thu Jul 07, 2016 9AM-5PM

A Perfect Summer HikeWhen: Thu Jul 07, 2016 9AM-5PM |
This approximately six-mile out-and-back hike features wildflowers, wild rhododendron, and an abundance of Bear Grass, which hopefully will be blooming in July. Even if the Bear Grass isn't in bloom or particularly abundant, this beautiful wilderness hiking trail will take us through lush forest and along a ridge to a ridge-top meadow with a spectacular view of Mt. Hood in clear weather.
- Round-trip travel: 60 miles
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Elevation gain: 800 feet
- Suggested donation per hiker: $7
Be aware that once we leave City Hall, the next opportunity for restroom facilities will be after the hike when we arrive back at Sandy.
Hiking boots and trekking poles are recommended. Bring water, energy snacks, and a sack lunch to eat at the meadow.

Senior Healthy Hikers asks that participants be 50 or older. A couple wishing to hike is welcome if one member of the couple is 50 or better.
Pets are not permitted on our hikes or walks.

Middle school and high school youth can attend free basketball practice, skill building and game play on Friday nights at H.B. Lee Middle School, 1121 NE 172nd Ave.
- Open to boys and girls in grades 6-12
- Learn new skills, make new friends, play basketball.
- Adult supervision and mentorship provided by the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC).
- Sponsored by the City of Gresham.
Schedule:
- 6-8 p.m. for grades 6-8
- 8-10 p.m. for grades 9-12
