The Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) meets as needed on the third Tuesday of the month immediately following adjournment of the 3 p.m. Gresham City Coucnil meeting.
Meeting start time varies.
GRDC meetings allow necessary Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal business to be dealt with, such as budget adoption, grant awards, public hearings, resolutions, etc.

Join the Celebration & Sing-A-Long!
The day after Thanksgiving, thousands of Portlanders will gather at the Square to celebrate the lighting of the spectacular 75ft Tree provided by Stimson Lumber Company. This beloved community tradition will feature a holiday sing-a-long with Thomas Lauderdale and members of Pink Martini, the NW Community Gospel Choir, and friends! With a big tree, over 14,000 colorful lights and Portland’s largest community sing-a-long this is an event you won’t want to miss! Download a copy of last year’s songbook here!. Arrive early for best viewing.

Middle school and high school youth can attend free basketball practice, skill building and game play on Friday nights at H.B. Lee Middle School, 1121 NE 172nd Ave.
- Open to boys and girls in grades 6-12
- Learn new skills, make new friends, play basketball.
- Adult supervision and mentorship provided by the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC).
- Sponsored by the City of Gresham.
Schedule
- 6-8 p.m. for grades 6-8
- 8-10 p.m. for grades 9-12

The 26th Annual Spirit of Christmas tree lighting one of the communitys most popular events rings in Greshams holiday season with a family-friendly program that includes music, photos with Santa, refreshments and the lighting of the 60-foot Ponderosa pine on the Arts Plaza.
This free, jolly holiday event is on Saturday, Nov. 25. Watch for fun activities beforehand in Historic Downtown in the afternoon leading up to the tree lighting festivities on the Arts Plaza from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. The tree is lit at 6:00 pm.

Free drop-in futsal games for boys and girls in grades 3-6 will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sundays in the Friends of the Children gym. Rain or shine.
Supervised play is provided by Active Children Portland volunteers. This activity is sponsored by the City of Gresham.
A signed waiver is required to participate.

Let's Get Dirty! No Ivy Day Cleanup at Nadaka Nature Park: Sat, Oct 28, 2017 9AM-12PM

Join Friends of Nadaka to restore a healthy habitat at Nadaka Nature Park Saturday on Oct. 28 from 9:00 am to noon. We will be removing invasive species such as English Ivy from the 10-acre forested portion of the park.
Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided. Dress to work in natural areas: long pants and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend.
Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Garden Weeding/Cleanup & potentially planting native plants.
Registration opens Oct. 1 at friendsofnadaka.org.
