Middle school and high school youth can attend free basketball practice, skill building and game play on Friday nights at Friends of the Children at 424 NE 172nd Ave.

• Open to boys and girls in grades 6-12
• Learn new skills, make new friends, play basketball.
• Adult supervision and mentorship provided by the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC).
• Sponsored by the City of Gresham.

Schedule

• 8:00 - 10:00 pm for grades 6-8
• 10:00 pm - 12:00 am for grades 9-12

Join us for Christmas at the Museum and Photos with Santa!!! Santa will be at the museum Dec 9th, and 16th 10AM-4PM. The museum will be fully decked out in holiday decorations with refreshments and fun activities for the whole family.

Sounds of the Season When: Sat Dec 09, 2017 1:30PM-3PM Where: Pioneer Courthouse Square 701 SW Sixth Ave Portland OR Get Map!

Downtown will pulse with the melodic sounds of big brass as nearly 300 tubas play in unison for the 27th Annual Tuba Christmas Concert in the heart of downtown. This seasonal performance is FREE for the public.

  Check-In and Rehearsal is at Hoffmann Hall (1833 SW 11th Ave) on Portland State University’s campus
  Check In: 9am to 10am
  Rehearsal: 10am to 12pm

Concert is from 1:30pm to 3pm at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Let's Kick Ball! When: Sun, Dec 10, 2017 5PM-7PM Where: Friends of the Children 424 NE 172nd Ave. Get Map!

Free drop-in futsal games for boys and girls in grades 3-6 will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sundays in the Friends of the Children gym. Rain or shine.

Supervised play is provided by Active Children Portland volunteers. This activity is sponsored by the City of Gresham.

A signed waiver is required to participate.
