Celebrate the 2018 Holiday Season at Zimmerman House: Sat, Dec 01, 2018 12PM-5PM

Volunteers are decorating the 1874 Historic Zimmerman House to celebrate the holiday season, and well have every room decorated for you.
The house was home to three generations of the Zimmerman Family. Their furnishings and personal articles remain in this two-story Victorian home, with ten rooms open to the public.
This year there will be a mix of holiday decorations brought in to add sparkle to the house and blended with a variety of Zimmerman family memorabilia from china to postcards to fashions to quilts.
Tours will be on the following Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5:00 pm:
- Nov. 30 and Dec. 1
- Dec. 7 and 8
- Dec. 14 and 15
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors/teens and free for children under 13 and East County Historical Organization (ECHO) members. Parking is free, but space is limited, so please carpool or take TriMet bus line 21-Sandy Blvd/223rd.

Big and little pirates alike are welcome to join us for a free family festival all about groundwater.
This event is free and no registration is required. All activities (including 15-minute canoe rides) are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Play fun games and go on a scavenger hunt in search of hidden treasure not gold, but groundwater, a precious resource that flows beneath your feet.
Come dressed in yer finest pirate togs, or else the Capn might make ye walk the plank!
Free kids T-shirts to the first 300 kids.

- Adult supervision and mentorship provided by the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC).

We hope you'll join us at the second annual Gresham Green and Clean Day of Service. This year, our efforts will focus on restoring natural habitat at project sites throughout the City.
The City is sponsoring a large cleanup and restoration effort in the Grant Butte Wetlands area along the Gresham Fairview Trail. In addition, the City is partnering with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council as part of their annual Watershed Wide event on projects at:

1511 S.W. 10th Court in Gresham off S.W. 10th Court near Towel Ave. - Butler Creek (Watershed Wide Event)
