Join Friends of Nadaka for our SOLVE IT cleanup event to restore a healthy habitat at Nadaka Nature Park in honor of Earth Day. We will be removing invasive species such as English Ivy from the 10-acre, forested portion of the park.

Tools, gloves and light refreshments will be provided.

Dress to work in natural areas: long pants, warm clothes and closed-toe, sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend, and meet at the picnic shelter.

Come See the Flowers! When: Tue Apr 26, 2016 9AM-5PM Where: Meet at Gresham City Hall 1333 NW Eastman Parkway Gresham, OR Get Map!

We will hike the short, paved interpretive trail on the south side of the road, then cross the road and hike the 3.5-mile trail to the top of the cliff, and circle back to the road. There are interesting geological formations, an old homestead, and there should be an abundance of wildflowers.

• Round-trip travel: 120 miles
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Elevation gain: 500 feet
• Suggested donation per hiker: $12

The area is mostly exposed, so sunshade, long pants, hiking boots and a walking stick are recommended.

Bring water and a lunch to eat along the trail.

Join us for a tour of the night sky where you'll whiz through universe from the comfort of your seat! 2 shows starting at 6:00PM, 7:15PM.

The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Planetarium invites you enjoy another year of great public shows using their state-of-the-art digital star projection system.

Each show is presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions during each program. Children are welcome to attend.

Volunteers are needed to plant thousands of native plants in Gresham's natural areas Join the Johnson Creek Watershed Council and City of Gresham natural resources program at two restoration sites as part of Johnson Creek Watershed Council’s annual Watershed Wide planting day.
