Gresham Landlord Forum For All Multi-Family Rental Landlords and Managers Jan. 21

Meetings are held at Gresham City Hall. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a forum for Gresham area apartment owners and managers to meet and exchange information. Read more

On Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. Meet the Artist Selected to Create the Art Elements at the Center for the Arts Plaza

Artist Claudia Fitch will discuss her work at this informal event. She is known for creating a variety of public works in the Northwest including the public art for Quest Stadium in Seattle. Read more

The City of Gresham offers the Map Your Neighborhood program to all neighborhoods who wish to prepare now for the next emergency or disaster. Are You Ready? Workshop Jan. 24 from 9AM to Noon

This free three-hour workshop will help you prepare your household for all types of disasters. Every participant will receive a neighborhood organizing tool and instructions for bringing together neighbors around the issues of preparedness and safety. Become a Master Recycler

Interested in teaching and advocating about recycling? Participate in the upcoming Master Recyclers course on Tuesday nights from March 31 to May 19. The City of Gresham Recycling and Solid Waste Division is sponsoring two individuals to attend. Read more

Successful Mediation Cases

A review of the mediation cases from July through December 2008 showed that when both people participated, 94% of the cases reached resolution. Quotes from participants give remarks from an employee, a landlord, a businessman, a neighbor, and a teen from different mediation cases. Read more
