Thanks to the Gresham Redevelopment Commission, fresh food debuts March 20, the first day of spring, at the Whole Foods Market “My Street Grocery” trolley pop-up market in Rockwood from 3-6 p.m. Fridays. The City's free 17th annual Earth Day Recycling Event is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 18. Do good for the earth: we need 100 volunteers to collect the batteries, large hard plastics, block styrofoam, small non-working electronics (toasters, radios), fluorescent tubes, cell phones and paper.
