All aboard Rockwood's market trolley, Friday's 3-6PM
Thanks to the Gresham Redevelopment Commission, fresh food debuts March 20, the first day of spring, at the Whole Foods Market “My Street Grocery” trolley pop-up market in Rockwood from 3-6 p.m. Fridays. Located on the west side of SE 187th Ave., just north of the Plaza del Sol, the trolley is stocked with healthy, affordably-priced food. Learn more.  Top

Free Earth Day Recycling: Lose it. Toss it. We'll take it, Apr 18
The City's free 17th annual Earth Day Recycling Event is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 18. Do good for the earth: we need 100 volunteers to collect the batteries, large hard plastics, block styrofoam, small non-working electronics (toasters, radios), fluorescent tubes, cell phones and paper. Want to know when the City's street light conversion is happening in your neighborhood? Now you can with our online map and schedule. We're converting all of Gresham's 8,000 street lights to LED fixtures - reducing the City's outdoor electricity use by more than half and saving $500k each year. Learn more.  Top
