Recycle a broken toaster for Earth Day. Apr 18
The City’s annual Earth Day Recycling Event is Saturday, April 18. We’re accepting nonworking electronics (toasters, radios, hair dryers etc.), plus batteries, cell phones, paper for shredding, large rigid plastics, block Styrofoam and fluorescent tubes and lights. Volunteers needed to help direct traffic, unload or sort materials. Learn more. Top

Make your yard (or school or business) friendly to birds and other wildlife with the City’s new Backyard Habitat Certification Program, a partnership with the Audubon Society of Portland and Columbia Land Trust.
