Help cleanup Nadaka Nature Park! When: Sat Aug 01, 2015 9AM-Noon Where: Nadaka Nature Park & Garden Meet at the Picnic Shelter 176th & NE Glisan Gresham, OR Get Map!

Join Friends of Nadaka to to help cleanup Nadaka Nature Park. We will be removing invasive species such as English Ivy from the 10 acre forested portion of the park, weed and water the community garden and the front two acres of the park.

Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided. Dress to work in natural areas: long pants, brimmed hat, and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend!

Join he Audubon Society of Portland for a guided bird walk through Nadaka Nature Park. This is a family-friendly event for beginner and advance bird watchers. If you have your own binoculars great! If not we will have some for you to borrow. See you at the park!.

Story & Guided Hike! When: Sat Aug 26, 2015 10AM-11AM Where: Nadaka Nature Park Meet at the Picnic Shelter 176th & NE Glisan St Gresham OR Get map!

We invite parents and children ages 3-5 to enjoy a short story and a guided nature hike. Watch birds fly overhead, search for hidden animal homes, and learn about local trees and flowers. The event runs rain or shine so pull on those boots and join us! There is a $3 suggested donation per child, no charge for adults. Meet us at the picnic structure. Come out and meet your neighbors and make new friends. Join SOLV® and Friends of Nadaka to help improve the park this Earth Day. Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Mulching Trails, Trash Removal and possibly work in Community Garden. Be prepared to get a little dirty and to have fun by supporting and volunteering with Friends of Nadaka and Wilkes East Neighborhood Association. Refreshments will be provided for volunteers.
