Walk Among The Colors When: Thu Oct 02, 2014 8AM-5PM Where: Hoyt Arboretum Meet at: Gresham City Hall 1333 NW Eastman Pwy Gresham, OR Get Map!

We will begin this five-mile hike from the zoo and follow the colorful Oak and Maple Trails before entering the web-like trail system of the Hoyt Arboretum. We’ll loop through a display of over 1,000 species of trees and a variety of exotics. Pack a lunch to eat in the covered picnic area across the street from the Arboretum Visitor Center. Hiking boots and poles are recommended.

• Round-trip travel: We'll ride the MAX from Gresham City Hall to the Oregon Zoo.

Let's Go Walking! When: Wed Oct 15, 2014 8:30AM-3PM Where: Forest Park Hike Meet at: Gresham City Hall 1333 NW Eastman Pwy Gresham, OR Get Map!

We will do a section of the Wildwood Trail in Forest Park starting at Upper Springville Road and SW Skyline Boulevard, do a loop of approximately five miles, including Leif Erickson Drive, and return to our cars. Please wear boots, or sturdy shoes, as the trail may be wet and slippery in spots. We will go to the Guilds Lake Inn for lunch.
