Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 9th through September 21st 2013.
Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

Shoppers will find all-natural meats and cheeses, fresh-picked produce, nursery stock and fresh-cut flowers, hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, artwork, and much more. Live music and food are always part of the market.

Join the Johnson Creek Watershed Council's Restoration Coordinator Robin Jenkinson and experience a virtual flyover of the Johnson Creek Watershed during "Science Talk: a Geographic Perspective on Restoring Johnson Creek." Learn about several of the 120 restoration projects implemented over the past decade and the development of a new Restoration Action Plan. Let's Go Walking!When: Sat Sep 21, 2013 11AM-12:30PM |
Come tour Historic Downtown Gresham, and learn about its historic buildings and homes, historic graves and trees, some historic local figures, and about the shops that used to line Main Ave. Tours weave throughout Historic Downtown Gresham, are fast paced, and will cover around a mile of mostly flat level ground.
Tours leave at 11:00AM sharp, rain or shine, and are free. Donations are always accepted and much appreciated. Parking is available in the lot behind the museum.

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.
