The City offers a free, drop-in soccer program for youth on Fridays from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Eastside Timbers and Thorns Soccer Complex.

Details

  • Open to all individuals in grades 6-12 and participants over the age of 18
  • Meet new friends, play soccer and showcase your skills
  • Participants must bring a signed waiver to play
  • Games are played in turf fields
  • Must have appropriate shoes to play
  • No metal cleats allowed
  • Adult supervision provided by City of Gresham

From time to time we all experience tough situations with our neighbors, tenants, landlords, roommates or those we work with. If these situations arent resolved they can grow into really troublesome problems. This free training will teach conflict resolution skills through communication.   • Distance: 3.5 - 4 miles
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Elevation gain: 400 feet
  • Suggested donation per rider: 3
  • Trail condition: Uneven ground with some poison oak

This will be a 3.5-mile loop in Mount Talbert Nature Park, which is a mixture of oak forest and upland prairie. There are lots of interesting plants and occasional views in different directions. At 750 feet, Mount Talbert is the largest volcanic lava dome in the area. There will be some hill climbing as we go to the top and around and then back down. There is poison oak along the trail, so be aware. Sturdy hiking shoes, poles, water, and a snack are suggested.

Bring your lunch, as we will have a picnic lunch at the picnic shelter at the trailhead.

Senior Healthy Hikers asks that participants be 50 or older. A couple wishing to hike is welcome if one member of the couple is 50 or better.
