Summer 2007 Meeting Report
Sunday the 9th of September Jerry & Connie Dunn hosted 67 neighbors, 16 children, and guests Chief Carla Piluso and her daughter Kate. It was a lovely warm evening with good food, fun, swimming for the children and lots of laughs.
The Chief took a Q&A, which lasted almost an hour. She was candid and forth right in her responses and gave lots of suggestions on how best we could manage everything from door to door solicitors, graffiti and who to contact when we have problems.
Watch Captain Glenn Mathews reminded everyone on how to report strangers in the neighbor-hood, how to telephone the Police, how to report your concerns to the operator and how and why we must stay on top of graffiti. He reminded everyone to photograph the graffiti before using the Graffiti Kit. Five (5) of the Kits issued by the City of Gresham were presented to neighbors at the four (4) locations of our Neighborhood Watch area.
