Highlights include: election of officers, Nadaka Nature Park improvements, and special guest speakers: John McClellan of Owens Corning discussing the new Gresham Foam Insulation Facility opening July 2009; Jonathan David, Gresham Transportation Dept talking about the NE Halsey St, & 181st Ave improvements, and; Jerry Gerspach, Noise Abatement Specialist, Port of Portland discussing the PDX airport runway construction and the increased noise over the Wilkes East neighborhood.

The Wilkes East Neighborhood is located in the Northwest corner of the City of Gresham, Oregon, and is one of Gresham's sixteen neighborhoods.
