Expanded Recycling
The City is offering an expanded recycling collection event in honor of Earth Day from 9:00AM to 2:00PM Saturday, April 18 (rain or shine). The recycling event is free to Gresham and Wood Village residents and will be held in the City Hall parking lots, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway.

Compost Bins For Sale
Interested in composting? Purchase The Earth Machine compost bin for $35 at the recycling event. Cash or check made out to City of Gresham. Normal retail price is $80.
Computer and TV Electronics Collection

Only household electronic equipment from residents’ homes will be accepted at the event. The City will not accept computer related equipment from businesses. Businesses may bring their fluorescent lights for recycling.
Frequently Asked Questions
This will be the last year the City offers electronics recycling at the event because the new statewide program that started Jan. 1, Oregon E-Cycles, offers free recycling year-round in Gresham.
Paper Shredding
On the heels of the April 15 tax deadline, the City is partnering with Gresham Sanitary to provide residents with free paper shredding at the Earth Day event.

Fluorescent Bulbs
Households and businesses may bring in their tubes and compact bulbs to the Earth Day collection event. Residents and businesses may pick up boxes, for packing and safely transporting fluorescent tubes, at the City Hall front desk during regular business hours beginning April 1.

Block Styrofoam
The Styrofoam must be clean and all tape and labels removed. Packing peanuts will not be accepted.
