Hi, Wilkes East neighbors. Here's something that may interest you. We got this letter from Keri Grogan, who does casting for HGTV:

I work in the casting department for HGTV. We are excited to announce that we will be looking for 3 lucky homeowners throughout the Portland Metro Area to feature on our new show Bang for Your Buck. I was hoping that some of your residents might be interested in being considered for the show. We plan to be in Portland the week of November 17th, however the producer will be choosing candidates within the next couple of weeks. I have posted our press release below. Home & Garden Television’s (HGTV) BANG FOR YOUR BUCK is gearing up for its first season and we’re looking for fun and enthusiastic homeowners in the greater Portland area RIGHT NOW!

We are looking for fun and energetic people who would like to showcase their fabulous renovation on TV! The remodels must have taken place recently (no more than 3 years ago). Each episode will compare three similar remodels at similar price points to see who got the most bang for their buck. We’ll also provide viewers with expert advice, answers on remodeling values, and inspiring ideas for design.
