Walk the Lower Sandy When: Wed Dec 03, 2015 9AM-5PM Where: Glenn Otto to Lewis and Clark Parks Meet at: Gresham City Hall 1333 NW Eastman Pwy Gresham, OR Get Map!

This is a 3.5-mile hike that starts at Lewis and Clark Park, where we will walk the park’s nature trail and see where ancient floods exposed a 160-foot-high volcanic cliff. Next we will drive over to Glenn Otto Park and hike its nature trails along the Sandy River. From Glenn Otto Park, we will take a short walk up to downtown Troutdale. We will stop at an Italian restaurant in Troutdale for lunch, and after lunch we will walk back to our cars. Bring along a snack and water. Hiking boots are recommended, because we will be walking on some nature trails, and they may be muddy.
