Gresham Celebrates National Bike Month
Grab your helmet! The City is offering bike activities throughout May in partnership with the Gresham Regional Center Transportation Management Association and the League of American Bicyclists. Activities include Bike to Work Day, group bike rides and volunteer opportunities. Read more
May is Building Safety Month
The City is providing a tips and information on safe and sustainable building practices throughout May. Come to the Gresham Farmers Market on May 19 to view our model home display and learn more about when and why building codes and inspections are required for safety. We'll have hard hats, color books and crayons for kids. Read more
Dusk Bird Walk - June 3
Join naturalists from Portland Audubon and the City for a walk along the newest section of the Gresham-Fairview Trail between Division and Powell on Sunday, June 3. This nighttime walk from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. will focus on the American bitterns that breed in the large wetland just off the trail. Read more
Solar Gresham Workshop - June 5
The sun is shining and so is the opportunity to go solar at home. Take advantage of low solar prices and incentives through Solar Gresham, but only until July 31. Want to learn more about solar first? Attend a free solar workshop on the basics, benefits and incentives for solar. Read more
Community Information Fair - June 6
Learn about community programs and other resources at the Community Information Fair from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 6. Hosted by the Kelly Creek and Powell Valley Neighborhood Associations, this free community event is open to all. There will be free hot dogs, drinks and activities for children. Read more
Planning a Community Event this Year?
The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division has resources to help you with recycling and resource conservation needs for your event, including ClearStream® recycling containers, waste prevention tips and more. Read more
Crime Reports on GreshamOregon.gov
Residents can now access current property crime data on the GreshamOregon.gov. The crime information is mapped so residents can get a visual perspective of actual crime reports submitted. This data is updated monthly and also includes crime prevention tips and trends. Read more
Volunteer With Girl Scouts
You can make a difference in the lives of girls. Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington is looking for troop leaders and service team members in the Gresham area.
