Join us for a morning stroll
In celebration of Great Blue Heron Week, join Jim Labbe with Audubon Society of Portland and Lee Dayfield with Wilkes East Neighborhood Association for morning stroll through Nakada Nature Park in West Gresham.
We'll explore the natural and human history of this unique neighborhood nature park and learn about efforts afoot to expand the park, improve access and environmental interpretation, and enhance its wildlife habitat. We'll also begin documenting bird species inhabiting the park and discuss the value of urban natural areas to avian biodiversity.

Directions: Meet at the north entrance to Nadaka Nature Park located one block north of NE Glisan on NE 172nd and three blocks east on NE Pacific St. You can also get there by going west on NE Pacific St from NE 181st Ave.
