This project involves revising City rules that present obstacles to desired development, with a focus on development rules related to Rockwood, Civic Neighborhood, Downtown and the City’s major streets. Please, come help us evaluate potential rule changes that involve building height, development intensity, parking requirements and other issues. The changes are intended to ensure that desired development can occur and result in high-quality centers and corridors that work well for people in Gresham.

In order to protect public health, safety, and welfare during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Gresham Planning Commission will meet remotely at 6:30 pm on Monday, Jan. 11, via Zoom.
Citizens wishing to provide oral comment during this Planning Commission meeting must register by sending their name, email address, phone number, and the subject matter to Jennifer McGinnis at Jennifer.McGinnis@GreshamOregon.gov at least 24 hours before the meeting. Written comments, including photo or other evidence, must be submitted at least 24 hours before the meeting. Persons who desire to provide comments and are unable to provide written comments in advance or are otherwise unable to access the meeting via Zoom are encouraged to contact Jennifer McGinnis as soon as possible, but at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, so that the City can provide alternate arrangements.

The Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) meets as needed on the third Tuesday of the month at 2:00 pm, subject to change. GRDC meetings allow necessary Urban Renewal business to be dealt with, such a bid and grant awards, budget adoption, public hearings, resolutions, approval of projects and related updates, and policy and property matters.

How to attend and access agenda materials
The Zoom meeting log-in/call-in information is listed on the first page of the meeting agenda. The agenda and related materials are posted on the Council Meeting Agendas and Videos web page under Upcoming Events (Redevelopment Commission applicable meeting), and on the Gresham Redevelopment Commission web page in the Meeting agendas and minutes section. Agenda materials are posted to those locations approximately one week before the meeting.
