Do you have clothes and other fabrics that need mending? Bring them to this workshop and learn how to repair them. Volunteers experienced in sewing will demonstrate how to repair items and then provide guidance while you repair your own. Sewing machines and hand-sewing supplies will be available, but if you want something specific for your repair (like matching thread, button, zipper, etc.), please try to bring those supplies.

Get Your Green On!

Join Friends of Nadaka to restore a healthy habitat at Nadaka Nature Park Saturday on Oct. 28 from 9:00 am to noon. We will be removing invasive species such as English Ivy from the 10-acre forested portion of the park.
Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided. Dress to work in natural areas: long pants and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend.
Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Garden Weeding/Cleanup & potentially planting native plants.
Registration opens Oct. 1 at friendsofnadaka.org.

Step Back in Time

Have fun with hot rods and classic cars. The nonprofit Pharaohs Street Rodders host the "Endless Summer Cruise-In" from 3:30 to 7:00 pm on Wednesdays from June through September in historic downtown Gresham across from the Gresham History Museum at 401 N. Main Ave.
There is no charge to look at the cars.
