About PAL
PAL (Police Activities League of Greater Portland) is a partnership between youth, police, and the community, building positive relationships through recreational, athletic and educational programs designed to encourage and develop good citizenship. Re-founded in 1990, PAL has gone from being a one-week summer sports camp to a year-round program that serves thousands of children throughout the city. The PAL Youth Center offers daily after school programs and field trips and welcomes volunteers of all ages.
