New members, presentations,
summer picnic planned

The Pacific Drive Neighborhood Watch meeting held Monday evening April 14th 2008 was a big success - adding nine new homes to their growing list of participants.

Their meeting is open to all neighbors on NE 168th Ave (between NE Pacific St and NE Oregon St) and NE 169th St between NE Hassalo St and NE Pacific St). Click here for a map of the area.

During the meeting residents enjoy several presentations including:

  • Daphne Mathews of Red Cross gave a helpful and informative presentation about disaster preparedness. For additional info visit the American Red Cross Disaster Predaredness website.
  • Glenn Mathews reminded everyone about lighting harzards in our area, and gave a brief report on events going on in the neighborhood.
  • Lee Dayfield, WENA Land-Use Chair discussed the City of Gresham's Tree Preservation Committee goals and activities, and encouraged everyone to participate in the Walk Through Nadaka Park on Thursday April 17, 2008 at 10:30 AM.

The group is planning a summer picnic for their next meeting (date to be announced). Check the website events calendar for an announcement.
