Enjoy a walk through the South Tabor neighborhood and the streets and trails along the east side of Mt Tabor, with a nice combination of flat, uphill and downhill walking. Distance: 3.5 miles, 7000 steps. Time: 90 minutes.

The MHCC Aquatic Center Dive-In movies make a return to the big screen this summer. At sunset, around 7:15 p.m., families and friends are welcome to spend time floating, splashing and swimming in the College’s 50-meter Olympic size pool. Film classics will be played on the electric scoreboard for viewers of all ages.

Prices are $4.50/adults, $3.25/children 18 and younger and seniors. MHCC students, staff and pool members’ admission is free with current ID or punch card. There is no extra charge to see the movie. Don’t forget your flotation toys.

You'll find plenty of root vegitables, braising greens and lettuces, and of course plant starts for your own vegetable garden.

Bring your reusable shopping bags and plenty of small bills, though some of the markets will trade you a credit/debit card for wooden tokens that all vendors accept, which can be easier to handle than cash. We've indicated those markets that accept EBT or other food assistant coupons - more access to good food for all.

Join the Fun

Explore downtown Gresham by bike with guide Jeff Corcoran, a member of the Gresham Transportation Subcommittee. The free ride will be completed in two phases, starting at Main City Park with a two-mile loop around East Gresham Elementary and Dexter McCarty Middle School, then returning to the park. The second phase will feature an eight-mile loop using the Springwater Corridor and Gresham-Fairview Trail. Travel on Stark, then through downtown, and return to Main City Park.

Riders should meet at 9:45AM in the parking lot at Main City Park, near the Springwater Trail. The ride will leave at 10AM, and the second phase will return to the same location approximately two hours later.
