Celebrate the Fourth!
There will be several fireworks shows in the Portland area on Monday, July 4th 2011 plus lots of entertainment all weekend long. All of the shows listed below can be viewed from the sponsoring event venues, or the surrounding area!

Fourth of July Fireworks and Festivities Blue Lake Park
8:00AM - 11:00PM

Celebrate Independence Day with music, fun and east county’s largest fireworks display at Metro’s Blue Lake Regional Park in Fairview. Pack a picnic, load up your loved ones and enjoy fireworks and live music alongside beautiful Blue Lake. Kids can cool off in the water spray ground and discover the new natural playground. For groups of more than 25 people, call 503-665-4995 to reserve a site. Gates open at 8AM.

  • Live music The Stingrays will play from 5PM until the fireworks begin

Admission $10 per car, $15 per bus, RV or 12-passenger van. No pets, alcohol or personal fireworks allowed.

Fort Vancouver
Noon - 11PM

This is the big one; one of the largest fireworks displays west of the Mississippi River. The show starts at 10:05pm, and can be seen from miles around, on both sides of the Columbia. The fireworks show is the climax to a day of festivities at the fort – visit the website for more information, including admission prices and entertainment schedules.

Waterfront Blues Festival
July 1-4, 10AM - 11PM

Thrill to the best blues in the world while relaxing on the banks of the beautiful Willamette River – all the while smiling at the thought that you are helping Oregon Food Bank fight hunger.

Fireworks show July 4th starting at 10:05pm, this display at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, is the largest fireworks show in Oregon. Viewable from anyplace around town that has a nice view of downtown. Of course if you’re attending the blues festival, you’ll have a great view.

St Paul Rodeo
July 1-4 8AM-10PM

76th Annual St Paul 4th of July Rodeo. This rodeo is ranked as one of the top rodeos in the nation with prize monies approaching $500,000 and nearly a thousand competitors. St. Paul’s designation as a Wrangler Million Dollar Tour Rodeo makes it one of eight very elite rodeos that attract the top competitors to the delight of its rodeo fans. Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo
July 1-4 8AM-10PM

Saddle up for four days of rodeo performances, a carnival, barbecue, live music, dancing and fireworks. The 88th annual event will be held at 5PM. July 1-3 and at 11AM on July 4 on the Molalla Buckeroo Grounds. The big fireworks display and the dance, featuring country music star and world champion rodeo title holder Justin McBride, follows the 8PM rodeo each day. Oaks Park
Show starts at dusk

Also on the Willamette, the Oaks Park 4th of July Spectacular starts at dusk. Viewable from parts of SE Portland and of course at the park, where if the weather’s nice, you might consider picnicking. Admission for July 4th is $5 ($3 for seniors 62 and up, and $2 for kids 15 and younger). No personal fireworks or alcohol allowed in the park! Ride bracelets valid until midnight, and there will be live music and entertainment throughout the day. Summertime at Oaks Park can be blissful.

Corbett Fun Festival
7AM - 11PM

The Corbett Fun Festival celebrates its 40th year with an annual parade, live music, and of course: Fireworks – around 10pm. The display is one of the largest in the Portland area. No alcohol, cigarettes or pets permitted!

Endeavor 3rd of July Party
Sunday July 3, 12PM-2PM

Endeavor Church at 177th & NE Halsey is hosting a "3rd of July" party. Everyone's invited. Event includes an outdoor concert, free BBQ, huge water fight, basketball, castle bouncer, volleyball and more.
