This hike will be 4 to 4.5 miles, out and back, along the lower Klickitat River in Washington. The trail has a good dirt and gravel surface, with a gradual elevation gain to the turn-around point. This area is known for its population of migratory eagles in the winter. Hopefully, we will be there at the right time to see some eagles. Wear winter clothes and sturdy boots or shoes and bring snacks and water. After the hike we will eat lunch at a local restaurant.

For more information about this hike please contact Bob Criteser at 503-807-1160 or bocr41@gmail.com or Sandy Anderson at 503-761-1375 or sandya14@msn.com.

Senior Healthy Hikers asks that participants be 50 or older. A couple wishing to hike is welcome if one member of the couple is 50 or better.
