A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

You are invited to ECHOs Farmhouse Valentine Tea and Antique Quilt Exhibit on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1:00 pm.ECHOs annual fundraising tea supports the restoration and preservation of the 1874 Zimmerman House and 1893 Heslin House Museums.This is the first year for the farmhouse theme and the menu will include scones with sweet cream, assorted savories, desserts, fresh fruit and hot tea. Vegan and gluten-free options are available upon request before Feb. 5.This is also the first year ECHO will have some of the antique quilts from both the Heslin and Zimmerman House collections on exhibit. There will also be a raffle, giving you the opportunity to take home some special treats.The adult tea is $25 and children under 10 years old are $12.50.Reservations are required before Feb. 5 and can be secured by calling 503-618-0946 or by emailing info@echohistory.org. Reservations are limited, so dont delay.The Farmhouse Valentine Tea will be held at the Quail Hollow Clubhouse, 21100 NE Sandy Blvd. in Fairview. The Gresham Historical Society is proud to announce its first exhibit of 2018: Historic Downtown Buildings and Businesses. Residents and out-of-towners have been frequenting shops and conducting business on Main Avenue in Gresham for more than 130 years and we would love for you to join us for our official exhibit opening.On Feb. 17 from 4:00 to 6 pm, our Museum Director and Curator will be on hand to discuss the materials in the display as well as some behind-the-scenes anecdotes. Mark your calendars it's the perfect time to visit the Gresham Historical Society.
