EEEeeekkkkk!
This Halloween weekend come to Troutdale and take a trip through one of the scariest and spookiest abandoned haunted hospitals around -- filled with years of ghostly visitations.
The Leadership Crew from Reynolds High School have taken over the old abandoned hospital in Troutdale near Edgefield -- the former county poor farm (learn more about Edgefield.) -- for an evening you won't soon forget. If you're familiar with this old building then you already know it's scary. Just imagine how really scary it can be at Halloween!

Nationwide
A nationwide live test of the emergency alert system is planned for 11:00AM Pacific Standard Time (2:00PM EST) on Wednesday, Nov 9th.
The three-minute test will go out on radios and TVs, briefly interrupting normal programming.
The test is different than other tests in that it will present itself as an actual emergency announcement, not a test. Doing so allows the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Emergency Management Agency to test reliability of different parts of the emergency notification system chain.
Officials stress that though it will appear there is a real emergency, it is only a test.

Join us to discuss the preferred approaches to removing obstacles to Downtown development by changing the Development Code.
Issues to be explored include floor-area ratio (development intensity), parking and street design.
The Downtown Plan Review project seeks to remove obstacles to Downtown development while retaining the vision of Downtown as: a center for jobs and housing; a thriving and unique entertainment, nightlife and shopping district; and a visually interesting place with buildings and streetscapes of high design quality.
A document that describes the preferred approaches to addressing Downtown Development Code issues is available on the project website.
Residents, business owners, property owners and other interested parties are invited to attend and comment on the proposals.
